Last Updated: June 16, 2003

There are times when you need to insert an entire file into an existing document. There are two ways to do this: 1) insert a file, or 2) select all, copy and paste. The first is easiest.

  2. Place your insertion point in the main document where you wish the inserted file to be placed.
  3. On the menu bar click Insert>File.
  4. Select the appropriate file
  5. Click on Insert in the right hand bottom corner of the pop up window from which you selected the file.
