Stop Word from Adding Extra Line Between Paragraphs

1. In Word 2003, On the Menu line, click on Format>Paragraph
2. In Word 2007, Click the down arrow on the Paragraph Group in the Home Ribbon.
3. In either program, the paragraph dialog box below will appear.

Be sure the Indents and Spacing tab is open. Place a click in the check box before "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style. In Word 2007, if you want this to be the default style, Click on the default box and click yes in the next dialog box.
